UNIUYO SUG schedules meeting with class representatives

 The Directorate of Academics of the Students’ Union Government (SUG), University of Uyo, has issued an official notice convening a mandatory general meeting for all Level Class Representatives.

​The notice, signed by the Director of Academics, Comr. Miracle Victor Etim, emphasizes that attendance is compulsory for representatives across all levels, from 100 Level to Final Year.

​Date: Thursday, 29th January, 2026

​Time: 5:00 pm Prompt

​Venue: Community Centre, Town Campus

​Attendance: Mandatory (100 Level – Final Year)

​Agenda of the Day

​The meeting will focus on critical academic and welfare issues, including:

​Updates on academic activities and the current semester calendar.

​In-depth discussion on examination processes and student preparation.

​Deliberation on welfare and academic support matters affecting the student body.

​Refreshments and Any Other Business (AOB).

​Important Instructions

​All Class Representatives are urged to be punctual as crucial decisions affecting their respective levels and constituents will be made. The Directorate further directed that all representatives within various faculties and levels be duly informed and encouraged to attend.

​Note on Absence: The Union has stated that no excuses for absence will be entertained, except in cases of verifiable emergencies supported by medical reports or official letters.
