Shehu Idris College of Health Sci. announces Induction ceremony for Health Information Mgt. Graduands

The Department of Health Information Management at Shehu Idris College of Health Science and Tech, Makarfi, has officially announced its upcoming Induction and Oath-Taking ceremony. Held in collaboration with the Health Record Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN), the event marks a significant transition for graduating students into the professional healthcare sector.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on 14th May, 2026. Proceedings will commence at 9:00 AM prompt at the College Auditorium. This year’s theme, "Rebirth of Digital Students," highlights the department's commitment to modernizing health record management in Nigeria.

The event will be held under the leadership of Mal. Sadisu Hamza, the Digital Head of Department (HOD) for HIM. Among those being celebrated is Abdullahi Tijjani, who joins his peers in taking the professional oath.

The induction serves as a formal entry into a career dedicated to accuracy, confidentiality, and public service. As the event motto states: "From Data to Duty - Inducted to Save Lives!"
