ABU Faculty of Education 1st semester exam timetable for affiliated institutions, 2025/2026
The Faculty Examination Officer, Emmanuel Gana, has officially released the comprehensive timetable for the First Semester 2025/2026 examinations for all affiliated institutions under the Faculty of Education, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
The examination period is scheduled to commence on Monday, April 13, 2026, and run through Saturday, April 25, 2026. Students are advised to take note of the two distinct daily sessions: Morning sessions beginning at 8:30 AM and Evening sessions starting at 2:30 PM.
Examination Schedule Highlights
Week One: April 13 – April 18
- Monday, April 13: Kick-off with EDUC201 and EDUC303 in the morning; EDUC209 and EDUC101 in the evening.
- Tuesday, April 14: Focus on EDUC207 and EDUC301 (Morning); EDUC203 and EDUC309 (Evening).
- Wednesday, April 15: A heavy schedule featuring General Education and Departmental courses including LIBS101, GEOG103, and PHED315.
- Thursday, April 16: Exams include BIOL313, MATH101, and various Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) courses.
- Friday, April 17: Includes COSC305, PHYS311, and SEIT/SEIG modules.
- Saturday, April 18: Weekend sessions including GENS 101 (held from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM) alongside LIBS and ARBC courses.
Week Two: April 20 – April 25
- Monday, April 20: Core subjects including ECON103, HIST203, and various SEIT/VTAG codes.
- Tuesday, April 21: Focus on BOTY, EDLA, and PHED series.
- Wednesday, April 22: Mid-week exams featuring GENS 201 (12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM) and ANAT201.
- Thursday, April 23: Includes ACCT201, COSC311, and advanced PHED modules.
- Friday, April 24: The final Friday features GENS 103 (12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM), STAT403, and SEME101.
- Saturday, April 25: Final wrap-up of remaining Departmental and Technical courses.
Important Notice to Institutions
The Faculty of Education has requested that all affiliated institutions review the timetable immediately and report the following within a two-week window:
- Identify any courses offered by the institution that are not reflected on this schedule.
- Propose alternative dates/times for courses that present scheduling clashes.
- Point out any repeated course codes in the current draft.
