Official NYSC Steps For Correction Of Date Of Birth/Correction Of Course Of Study

This is to inform prospective corps members who wishes to make correction on their dates of birth OR course of study that the management of National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) has released a new procedure for making such corrections.

Henceforth, information from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) will now be used to effect changes on the NYSC portal as from the 2017 Batch ‘A’ online Registration.

All prospective corps members are to follow the instructions and steps below to make correction in either their date of birth or their course of study.

NYSC Correction of Date of Birth

For the correction of date of birth, the new procedure is as follows:

STEPS

• Visit https://portal.nysc.org.ng/
• Login using your email address and password
• On your dashboard, click on the link to Date of Birth
• Enter WAEC Verification PIN, select WAEC Type, Year of exam and enter your Examination Number
• Click on Verify button
• Click SUBMIT or CANCEL

NYSC Correction Of Course of Study

STEPS

1. 1. Login to your dashboard and click on the link for Correction of Course of Study;
   2. Select Course of Study; and
   3. Click SUBMIT
