Ogun State Schools announces commencement of 2nd term holiday, 2025/2026

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced that all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as government technical colleges in Ogun State, will proceed on holiday for the second term of the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to the official press release issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi A. Arigbabu, the holiday will commence on Monday, April 6, 2026 and end on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Schools across the state are expected to resume for academic activities on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Parents and guardians have been advised to take proper care of their wards during the holiday period.

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring quality education and the well-being of students across Ogun State.
