OOU Denies Hike in Tuition Fee:

THE management of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye in Ogun State has said no student was asked to pay extra tuition fee.

OOU Head of Corporate Affairs Niyi Oduwole told The Nation yesterday that students resumed without paying extra fees.

He said the news circulated in the social media that the management told final year medical students to pay additional fees is false.

Oduwole also said the study period of medical students may be extended following the doctors’ strike at the teaching hospital, adding that the university has made provisions to accommodate the back log of students from pre-medical school.
