OOU SUG notice on Curfew and restriction of activities

This is to formally inform all students of Shagamu Campus that, following the passing of the Onijagba of Ijagba Land, Oba Sir Adekoya Samson Adesanya Gusennuwa III, traditional rites are currently being observed within the host community.

The rites will span a period of seven (7) days, commencing from March 15, 2026.

In line with this development, the following directives have been communicated and must be strictly adhered to:

. Curfew Hours: A daily curfew has been imposed from 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM. All students are required to remain indoors during these hours.

. Restriction on Activities: There shall be no loud music, drumming, parties, or social gatherings throughout the duration of the rites.

⚫ Movement Advisory: Students are strongly advised to avoid unnecessary night movement and to prioritize their safety at all time.

All students are urged to comply fully with these directives as a mark of respect for the host community and to ensure the safety of lives and property.
