UNIOSUN notice on commencement of harmattan semester exams, 2025/2026

The management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially announced that the Harmattan Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session will begin on Monday, 23rd February, 2026.

In a circular issued by the Directorate of Academic Affairs and signed by the Registrar/Secretary to Senate, Mrs. Atinuke A. OGUNTUNDE, the university reminded all students of the mandatory financial requirement for exam participation.

The circular states that students must pay at least 50% of their tuition fees and complete all necessary registration formalities before the start of examinations. The management emphasized that only students who have fulfilled these obligations will be eligible to sit for the exams.

“Students who have yet to make necessary payment and complete their registration are therefore urged to do so without any further delay to avoid being denied access to the examination halls,” the notice read.

The university also indicated that tutorial lists will be used to verify and permit entry into the examination venues. This measure is intended to ensure that only duly registered and financially compliant students are allowed to write their papers.

The circular has been widely disseminated to all students, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, all staff, and posted on all university notice boards.

Students are advised to treat this information with urgency and complete all pending requirements promptly to ensure a smooth examination process.
