UNIOSUN direct students to pay 50% tuition fees before resumption

The management of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, has directed students to pay at least 50 per cent of their tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic session before the resumption of academic activities.

This was contained in a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar and addressed to all students. According to the notice dated December 18, 2025, the directive applies to students who did not apply for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

The university stated that the minimum payment must be made before resumption on Monday, January 5, 2026. Management warned that any student who fails to comply within the stipulated period will not be allowed to participate in Continuous Assessment (CA) and the Mid-Semester Test for the session.

The circular encouraged students to make payments early to avoid inconvenience and ensure a smooth academic session. The management also extended holiday greetings to students, urging them to enjoy the season responsibly.

The notice was signed by the Registrar, Atinuke Abosede Oguntunde, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor.
