The Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, has officially announced the opening of the application portal for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2026 academic cycle.

In an internal memo addressed to all students and signed by the ICT Director, Mr. Sati Satmwa Dapel, the university disclosed that the application portal is now active and will remain open until January 31, 2026. This provides students a four-week window to submit their applications.

Interested and eligible students are directed to apply via the official NELFUND portal: https://nelf.gov.ng/.

To ensure a smooth process, the university has provided a dedicated link (https://bit.ly/NELFUND-PLASU) where students can verify their eligibility status. A QR code is also included in the announcement for quick access to the verification page.

The management strongly encourages all qualified students to take advantage of this financial aid opportunity. For students who encounter technical difficulties during the application or have inquiries regarding the loan, the ICT Directorate is available to provide assistance.

Students can visit the ICT Directorate in person or contact Mr. Paul Azi on 08034567716 for support.

The memo concludes with the university’s commitment to "Building a SMART CAMPUS," aligning this initiative with broader goals of enhancing educational access through technology and support services.
