Police rescues abducted KWASU student from kidnappers den
The Kwara state police command has rescued one Khadijat Isiaq, a 300-level Mass Communication student of the Kwara State University (KWASU) who was kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday, August 22 at Okoru village, near Malete at about 9 pm.
The command’s spokesman, Okasanmi Ajayi who confirmed the student abduction said the suspects, numbering about six have been arrested with various weapons used in the kidnap.
He added that the suspects will be charged to court after investigation.
