Pretty AAU graduate awaiting service, killed by suspected herdsmen

A fresh graduate from the Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, named Ella Williams, has been reportedly killed by armed men suspected to be herdsmen along the Benin-Ekpoma expressway. The graduate of Architecture was said to be traveling from Benin City to Ekpoma when the gunmen opened fire on the vehicle she boarded, killing her on the spot while other passengers were abducted.

According to Asomba Andrew Egbuonu, who confirmed the incident, Ella was on her way to AAU to pick up her call-up letter for the compulsory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
