Prof. Denise Akoh Takes Over As FUNAI DVC (Academics)

Former Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Professor Sunday Elom has officially handed over to Professor Denise Akoh, the newly elected Deputy Vice Chancellor on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

Professor Denise Akoh was elected DVC at the 62nd University Senate Extraordinary meeting on Thursday, August 27, 2020. He thanked the vice chancellor for giving him the opportunity to serve as DVC and also appreciated Prof. Elom for his commitment and passion for the job.

The outgoing DVC (Academics) appreciated God for the opportunity to serve and complete two tenures and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba for the support and privilege granted to him to serve as the DVC. He also congratulated his successor, Prof. Akoh on his appointment.
