Abstract
The purpose of this research is to assess the intricacies of Christianity and the family, taking into consideration that, a personβs environmental condition and believe about God is greatly influenced by his family background. However, those who are brought up in a family where religion is a strong influence would tend to be religiously minded. Be that, as it may, therefore, this research is limited to the study of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Calabar South as a Christian community or conglomerate and how she address fundamental family issues relating to issues of poverty, worship, marriage and divorce, issues of repentance and amongst others.

INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Christianity is one of the world's largest religions, with over 2 billion followers worldwide. At the core of Christian beliefs is the message of love, hope, and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. For many Christians, their faith plays a vital role in their daily lives and influences their relationships, including those with their families.
The family unit has always been a fundamental aspect of human society, providing a sense of identity, belonging, and support for its members. In Christianity, the family takes on an even greater significance as it is viewed as the foundation of society and a reflection of God's love.
In this essay, we will explore the relationship between Christianity and family, examining the role of the family in Christian teachings, the principles that guide Christian family life, and the challenges that Christian families face in the modern world.
At the heart of Christian teachings is the message of love, which is expressed through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The Bible teaches that love is the greatest commandment, and Christians are called to love their neighbors as themselves. In the context of the family, this means that parents are called to love their children, and children are called to honor and respect their parents.
