Protest in OGITECH following death of a student

There is an ongoing protest at OGITECH following the death of a student. On the 3rd of November 2020, a student by the name Yusuf Malik Omoty had an accident in front of the school. He was rushed by his fellow students to the school health center but the health center requested for an obligatory fee print out which the students could not provide.

As a result, the staff of the health center refused to attend to him which led to his death.

Following this, the students are currently protesting and demanding the following; 

*Provision of functional, Equipped, and Advance Health care system 

*Creation of a parking space outside the school gate 

*Scrapping of Obligatory fee

*An independent Students Union Government 

The students have vowed not to stop the protest until their demands are met.
