The Management of the University of Cross River State has announced the postponement of all Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations previously scheduled to commence this month.

In a circular signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Catherine Ndifon Osai, it was revealed that the Vice Chancellor approved this rescheduling following a strategic review of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Mock and Main Examination schedules.

Key Reasons for the Adjustment:

  • Avoiding Overlaps: To ensure that university examinations do not conflict with the ongoing JAMB national examination schedule.
  • Infrastructure Optimization: To allow for the seamless deployment and optimal utilization of the University’s ICT infrastructure.
  • Student Welfare: To guarantee a conducive, hitch-free examination environment for all candidates.

New Examination Schedule:

All CBT Examinations affected by this postponement will now take place starting from the first week of the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Session.

Notice to Students: A revised academic timetable will be circulated in due course. Students are advised to remain patient and await further guidance from their respective departments.

The University Management regrets any inconveniences this adjustment may cause and appreciates the continued cooperation of both staff and students.
