Resolution of ASUU ABU Congress Meeting

The Congress of Academic Staff Union of Universities, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Branch held an Emergency Congress Meeting on October 19th, 2020 at the Mamman Kontagora Square. Issues bordering on the Federal Government proposal relating to the current national strike action were intensely deliberated on.

Congress hereby resolve as follows:

1. Congress commends the National Strike Coordinating Committee (NSCC).

2. The Congress reaffirms its position in support of the national strike coordinating committee in pursuing the current strike action.

3. Congress unanimously rejects all the proposals of the Federal Government as presented and urge the NSCC to ensure that all matters that led to the current strike action are pursued to a logical conclusion.
