Resumption of Work at the FUTO Abandoned SOHT Building

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri has commenced the re-construction of the abandoned School of Health Technology, (SOHT) Phase 1 (Dean’s Complex).

During an inspection of the on-going construction of the project, the Vice-Chancellor stated that the policy of his administration was to complete all the abandoned projects that litter the landscape of the University.

He assured that as the finances of the University improve, Management would resume work on and complete other abandoned projects.

In his reaction to the development, the Dean, SOHT, Prof. I. N. S. Dozie commended the Vice-Chancellor for re-starting the project.

He noted that the project, when completed would alleviate the infrastructural challenges of the School.
