Rhema University 3rd Inaugural Lecture

The Vice Chancellor of Rhema University Nigeria, Professor Ogbonnaya C. Onwudike, on behalf of the Senate, has cordially invited members of the academic community and the general public to the university’s 3rd Inaugural Lecture.

Titled “Therapeutic Potential of Medicinal Plants Used in Nigeria for Diabetes Management: Insights from Animal Models”, the lecture will be delivered by one of the university’s distinguished scholars, Professor Jevas Chibuike Ozoigwu.

“This lecture will shed new light on locally available medicinal plants and their scientifically validated potential in managing diabetes — a disease that continues to affect millions of Nigerians.”

The lecture promises to present cutting-edge research findings from animal models, offering fresh perspectives on natural, plant-based therapeutic options for diabetes management in Nigeria.
