SAZU notice to graduands on upload of projects to NERD Portal for 2026 NYSC Mobilization

In line with a Federal Government directive dated 8th August, 2025, all graduands of the 2025/2026 Academic Session are required to upload their Academic Project Reports, Theses, and Dissertations to the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD).

This is mandatory for 2026 NYSC mobilization.

KEY POINTS TO NOTE:

1. Purpose

      The platform is designated for uploading academic projects, theses, and dissertations specifically for 2026 NYSC mobilization.

2. Requirements

      Students must:

   · Register on the portal

   · Verify personal and institutional details

   · Upload their project

   · Obtain a “NERD Clearance Slip”

3. Mandatory Checks

      The system includes a national plagiarism checker service.

4. Timeline

      While uploads began in late 2025, full enforcement of credential verification commenced in January 2026.

All affected graduands are expected to comply accordingly.
