Singer Simi slam the Nigerian government over lingering ASUU strike

Nigerian afro-pop singer, Simi has weighed in on the prolonged industrial action by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The union has been on strike since March 2020 due to the failure of the government to reach an agreement with the union over a number of issues. 

In a number of tweets shared on Wednesday, November 18, Simi expressed frustrations over the continued strike.
