Southern Delta University notice to graduands on collection of gowns for the Maiden Convocation Ceremony

This is  to inform all Graduands for the forthcoming maiden convocation ceremony of Southern Delta University that the maiden Convocation Ceremony has been scheduled as follows: 

• Date: Saturday, 28 February, 2026.
• Venue: Events/Convocation Centre.
• Time: 9.00 a.m. prompt.

Arising from above, all Graduands are invited to note the information below:

a. Academic Gowns shall be available for collection from Departmental Officers both at the Main campus and Orerokpe Campus from Monday, 23 February, 2026 to Thursday, 26th February, 2026 and shall be returned in good condition to Same Officer on or before Friday, 6th March, 2026.

b. All graduands are expected to deposit their original Statement of Result in addition to a copy of duly certified clearance form as condition for collection of Academic Gown.

c. Failure to return the Academic Gowns within the stipulated period indicated in paragraph "a" above shall attract a fine of four thousand Naira (N4,000.00) per day.

d. Graduands who fail to return their gowns shall be liable for the payment of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00).
