Stars Maritime Academy Announces Admission for 2025/2026 Session

Stars Maritime Academy, a premier Merchant Navy Academy, is now accepting applications for admission into its ND, STCW, and ISPS Programs for the 2025/2026 academic session. This call is open to aspiring seafarers, mariners, and merchant vessel captains.

Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission must meet the following criteria:

• Academic Qualifications: Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/GCE/NECO or NABTEB, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects (obtained in not more than two sittings).
• Age Limit: Applicants must be over 16 years of age.
• Nationality: Candidates must be Nigerian by birth.
• JAMB Status: Application is open to candidates with or without JAMB (JAMB Cut-Off Mark is 100).

National Diploma (ND) Programs

The academy offers a two-year National Diploma in the following fields:

• Marine Engineering
• Computer Science
• Business Administration
• Maritime Transport & Business Studies
• Nautical Science
