Northwest University, Kano registration procedure for fresh students, 2025/2026

Registration for the 2025/2026 academic session officially commences on Monday, 23rd March 2026 and will conclude on Saturday, 26th April 2026. All newly admitted students are advised to follow this four-stage process carefully to complete their documentation.

Stage 1: Faculty Screening & Medicals

• Credential Screening: Visit your respective faculties for the screening of O’level credentials and JAMB UTME subjects.
• Medical Certificate: Proceed to the University Clinic for your Medical Certificate. Please note that this is based on dates assigned per faculty.

Stage 2: Portal Registration & Payments

• Portal Access: Visit the University Portal and click on "New Registration."
• Invoice & Payment: Print your Payment Invoice and pay the registration charges via NABROLL.
• Receipt: Revisit the portal to print your official Payment Receipt.
• Faculty Documentation: Return to your Faculty registration point with your JAMB Admission Letter, Acceptance Form, and credentials for screening and documentation.

Stage 3: Course Registration

• UTME Students: Access the University Portal to print your Course Registration Form (CRF).
• Direct Entry (D.E) Students: Proceed to your department to copy your courses and credit loads for upload onto the portal.
• Authentication: Visit the portal for final Course Registration and see your Level Coordinator for the authentication of your CRF.

Stage 4: Final Documentation & I.D. Card

• Directorate of DEAR: Visit the Directorate for documentation with all listed registration documents.
• Student Affairs: Proceed to the Student Affairs Division for your I.D. Card.
• Library: Complete your registration at the University Library.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Candidates must ensure they bring along complete originals and four (4) copies of all credentials for documentation at the Directorate of Examinations, Admissions, and Records (DEAR).

You are required to come along with the following to “DEAR” for your documentation:

1. Jamb Admission Letter
2. Original ‘A’ level statement of result(s) for DE Candidates
3. Original ‘O’ level statement of Result(s) for both UTME and DE candidates
4. Transcript of Academic Records for Ordinary Diploma and National Diploma candidates
5. Original Primary School Leaving Certificate or Testimonial
6. Original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
7. Original Indigene Identification Certificate/Attestation
8. Duly completed undertaking form
9. Two recent white colored background Passport-size Photograph (upload the same into the Registration Portal for your I.D Card)
10. Duly completed candidate Screening form (hereby attached)
11. Letter of Reference
12. Medical Certificate
13. Bio-data form
14. Acceptance Confirmation letter

**Note**

i. Ensure to come along with originals and photocopies of all the above-listed documents to the screening point.
ii. The screening exercise will start from Monday, 23rd March 23, 2026, to Saturday, 26th April 2026.
iii. Candidates who do not appear for the registration within the dates specified above will be considered NOT interested in the admission.
iv. Candidates whose Original ‘O’ Level Certificates are not available at the time of screening can present an original online printout results slip.
