Strike: ASUU Begs Stakeholders To Prevail On FG

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Delta State University, Abraka, Chapter, yesterday, called on stakeholders, including civil society organizations, traditional rulers, church leaders and other well-meaning Nigerians, to prevail on the Federal Government to fully implement the 2009 ASUU/FGN Agreement; 2012 Memorandum of Understanding, MoU; the Needs of Assessment Report, and stop playing politics with the future of the country’s children.

The chapter, in a statement issued by its chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Mordi, said that the Federal Government should be held responsible for the delay in calling off the nationwide strike embarked upon by the union.
