FULAFIS SUG notice to students on Eid al-Fitr Prayer

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Lafia has officially extended a warm invitation to the Muslim Ummah, including students, staff, and the general public, for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr prayer.

This annual congregational prayer serves as a significant moment for the university community to unite in gratitude and celebration, marking the successful conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.

Date: 1st Shawwal 1447 (Expected to fall on 19th or 20th March 2026)

Venue: Surroundings of Shaikh Muhammad Ahmad Ba Qadir Al-Amudi’s Mosque, Permanent Site, FULafia

Time: 9:00 AM (Tentative – Subject to final moon sighting confirmation)

The SUG leadership emphasizes that this gathering is an opportunity to foster unity and spiritual reflection within the campus environment. All members of the university and surrounding neighborhoods are encouraged to attend and arrive early to ensure a coordinated and peaceful prayer session.
