TASFUED SUG alerts students on insecurity, restricts movement in Students environment

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) wishes to officially inform all students and residents within the student community that due to the recent robbery incidents recorded around our environment, the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies have intensified security measures to ensure the safety of lives and properties.

Following directives received from the police station, security patrol operations will commence from tonight across the student environment and surrounding areas.

All students are hereby advised to remain indoors from 10:00 PM daily until further notice. No student is expected to move around or loiter within the environment after the stipulated time.

Students are also strongly advised to always move around with their valid Student Identification Card (ID Card) for proper identification whenever necessary.

Any student found outside during patrol hours without valid reason may have to bear the consequences of such actions, as security operatives will be carrying out strict patrol and monitoring activities.

This directive also applies to indigenes, market men and women, shop owners, and all residents within the community. Everyone is urged to cooperate with security agencies and remain vigilant at all times.
