The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Announces 2025/2026 Matriculation and Orientation Schedule

The Management of The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, through the Students' Affairs Office, has officially released the schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session matriculation ceremony and the preceding orientation period for new students.

Matriculation Ceremony Details

The matriculation ceremony, which marks the formal admission of fresh students into the institution, is scheduled to take place as follows:

• Date: Saturday, 18th April, 2026
• Time: 9:30 AM Prompt
• Venue: Stadium Complex

All Deans and Heads of Department have been directed to attend the event to welcome the new intake.

Fresh Students' Orientation and Lecture Suspension

In preparation for the matriculation, the institution has declared a dedicated orientation period. To ensure full participation, management has issued a directive regarding academic activities:

• Orientation Period: Wednesday, 15th April – Friday, 17th April, 2026
• Lecture Status: There will be no lectures for fresh students during this three-day orientation window.
