There is no vacancy or recruitment ongoing in AKSU - VC

The Vice-Chancellor of the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), Prof. Nse Essien has refuted allegations of staff recruitment, student admission and sale of 500 laptops emanating from his office through social media.

In a statement released on Monday, the VC excluded the University from the admission scam, stressing that, only the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is authorized to regulate admissions in Nigeria universities.

Furthermore, he warned members of the public to ignore these false claims, maintaining that the institution does not engage in the sale of computers neither is it carrying out recruitment of any kind.
