Tragedy Hit FUNAAB as Accident Kill 2 Students

Two students of the Federal University of Agriculture,
Abeokuta (FUNAAB) were confirmed dead after they were
knocked down by a jeep at the Alabata area of the
institution.

As a result of the tragic event, the ill-fated jeep was set ablaze by the irate students of the institution who were apparently protesting the death of their colleagues.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer; Mr Muyiwa Adejobi said the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the mortuary of the state hospital located at Ijaye area of the state capital.

He however said that the situation has been put under control by officers of the Ogun State police command.
