Trinity University 4th Convocation Ceremony

Trinity University has officially unveiled the schedule for its 4th Convocation Ceremony, a week-long series of academic and ceremonial events set to take place at its Yaba campus.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement O. O. Kolawole, made the announcement on behalf of the university’s Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Senate, management, staff, and students. The ceremony, themed “Convoking a Galaxy of Stars: Empowered to Make Global Impact,” highlights the institution’s commitment to producing globally relevant graduates.

Programme Highlights

Activities will commence on Monday, March 23, 2026, with a press conference at the Senate Chamber.

On Tuesday, March 24, student-centered activities will be held in the evening, followed by the Matriculation Ceremony on Wednesday, March 25, featuring a lecture by Professor Joseph Babatola Ayodele, Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University.

A Thanksgiving Service and Convocation Lecture are scheduled for Thursday, March 26, with Pastor Poju Oyemade, founder of The Covenant Nation, delivering the convocation lecture.

The week-long celebration will conclude on Friday, March 27, 2026, with the main Convocation Ceremony, where diplomas and degrees will be awarded, alongside the presentation of prizes.

Venue

All events will take place at the Trinity University Campus, Yaba, Lagos, with key ceremonies hosted at the Convocation Arena.

University officials have invited stakeholders, families, and the general public to participate in the celebration of academic excellence and achievement.
