UAST Pre-Degree and Remedial Admission List, 2025/2026

The University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST), Ihugh, through the Institute of Foundation and Entrepreneurship Studies (IFES), has officially announced the release of the 2025/2026 Pre-Degree and Remedial Admission List for candidates who applied for the institution’s foundational programmes.

According to the announcement from the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, the list of successful applicants has been uploaded to the UAST Admissions Portal, and all candidates are expected to verify their admission status immediately.

Payment and Verification Procedure

The University emphasized that all applicants must verify their admission status by paying a non-refundable Admission Status-Check Fee of ₦2,000. Payment is strictly online through Paystack on the official UAST Admissions Portal.

The steps for verification are as follows:

1. Visit the UAST Admissions Portal via https://admissions.bsuast.edu.ng/

2. Select “Pre-Degree/Remedial Admission Status Check.”

3. Enter your Application Number and Full Name.

4. Click on “Proceed to Payment.”

5. Complete the ₦2,000 payment using any ATM card or supported digital payment option.

6. After successful payment, return to the portal to view your admission status.

7. Print the Admission Notification Slip containing registration guidelines and resumption instructions.

The University warned that no cash or manual payments will be accepted.

Next Steps for Admitted Candidates

IFES further outlined the onboarding procedures for candidates who have been offered provisional admission:

1. Click on “Proceed to Payment” to pay the ₦20,000 Acceptance Fee via Paystack.

2. Print the official Acceptance Letter, which contains registration and orientation details.

3. Prepare required documents, including:

Birth Certificate

Passport Photographs

O’Level Credentials

Application Acknowledgement Slip

4. Visit the Takeoff Campus at Ihugh-Korinya Road to collect the official admission letter from the Office of the Registrar.

5. Create a student profile using the Admission Number indicated on the Official Letter of Admission (OLA).

6. Await the release of the Registration Schedule and User Charges from the Bursary.

Important Warnings

UAST noted that verification and onboarding activities commence immediately from November 19, 2025.

The institution cautioned that any act of falsification, impersonation, or admission forgery will lead to automatic withdrawal of admission and possible prosecution.

All applicants are strongly advised to rely solely on official UAST communication channels for updates.
