UCH, Ibadan admission into Perioperative Nursing School, 2025/2026

The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan is offering a one-year course leading to qualification as a Registered Perioperative Nurse. This is a full-time, residential programme designed to boost your nursing career through specialist surgical care training.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Be Registered Nurses (RN) with current practice license of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

2. Possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/NECO/SSCE) or GCE O’ Level or equivalent with at least 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two (2) sittings of the same examination body.

3. Have at least one (1) year post qualification experience as a General Nurse.

4. Approval for one (1) full year of release from employers or other training Schools.

   The course is offered as both residential and full time.

APPLICATION STEPS

1. Visit the UCH schools’ portal on
   https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng
   and click REMITA PAYMENT button to make payment of
   Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (₦25,000.00)

2. After successful payment, candidates are to sign up with his/her RRR, Email and Password used for the payment.

3. Login with your Email and Password to continue the online application.

4. Go to the portal on https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng, download the Applicants’ User Guide.

5. Print 2 Copies of your form and Photocard and bring them on the day of examination.

6. Make a payment of Two Hundred Naira (₦200.00) to:

   Oyo State Nursing & Midwifery Committee Account,
   First Bank PLC – 2019704292

PLEASE NOTE:

1. Entrance Examination and interview shall take place on the 2nd and 3rd of July, 2025 respectively.

2. Only candidates with authenticated Photocard will be allowed into the examination hall.
