UDUSOK announces 31st Swearing-In Ceremony for 2024/2025 graduating Veterinary Doctors

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), in collaboration with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN), has announced the 31st Swearing-In Ceremony of its graduating veterinary doctors for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 31st March 2026 at the Emir Zaiyanu Auditorium, UDUS, beginning at 10:00 AM.

The Vice-Chancellor of UDUS, Prof. Bashiru Garba (MFR), will serve as the Chief Host of the event. Other notable personalities expected at the ceremony include:

• Muhammad Ibrahim – Chairman of the Occasion
• Prof. Y.S. Baraya – Host
• Prof. Matthew Adamu – Co-Host
• Dr. Usman Musa Mohammed – Special Guest of Honour
• Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu – Guest of Honour
• Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III – Royal Father of the Day
• Dr. Muhammad Zaitanu Abdullahi – Distinguished Guest of Honour
