UNIABUJA library razed by fire (video)

The University of Abuja library located at the University’s permanent site along Abuja airport road was gutted by fire on Friday, May 21, 2021.

Though the cause of the inferno is yet to be revealed, the fire reportedly destroyed lots of documents, books, and files.

An eyewitness who was present at the scene of the incident claimed students tried to put out the fire after all efforts to get the fire service department proved abortive. After several failed attempts, the fire service department eventually arrived at the scene and put out the fire.

No life was lost to the fire.
