UNIABUJA notice on collection and return of matriculation gowns

As preparations intensify for the forthcoming Matriculation Ceremony scheduled to hold on Thursday, 12 February 2026, all fresh students are hereby informed that the collection of matriculation gowns will commence on Monday, 9 February 2026.

Students are required to collect their academic gowns from their respective Faculty Officers upon presentation of a duly stamped school fees receipt.

Furthermore, all matriculating students are advised to ensure that the academic gowns are returned immediately after the ceremony. Please note that a penalty of ₦5,000 per day will be charged for late return of gowns.
