UNIBEN students resume protest, block airport entrance

Aggrieved students of various tertiary institutions in Edo state have commenced another protest over the ongoing strike by ASUU.

The students blocked the entrance to the airport and the ever-busy Airport road today, Monday, May 9, in continuation of the protest that they had started last week.

According to the students, they are willing to remain on the streets till the federal government and ASUU have resolved their issues to enable them to return to classes.

The protesting students said the twelve weeks extension of the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union Of Universities is unacceptable.
