UNICAL SUG warns students against illegal space allocation

The Students Union Government (SUG) Taskforce of the University of Calabar has issued a stern warning to individuals involved in the illegal allocation of spaces meant for official use within the university.

In a public notice dated October 3, 2025, the Taskforce stated that such unauthorized acts would not be tolerated and will attract severe consequences. According to the notice, any illegally obtained allocations will be revoked and reclaimed by the Taskforce.

The Chairman, High Chief Winston Churchill, emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity and fairness in campus operations, urging all members of the university community to adhere strictly to official procedures.

He encouraged collaboration towards building a better and more transparent campus environment.
