UNIDEL announces matriculation ceremony, 2025/2026

The University of Delta, Agbor, has officially announced the date for its 5th Matriculation Ceremony. According to a circular signed by the Registrar, Richmond Omagbemi (Esq), the event is scheduled to hold on Friday, 14th November 2025, beginning with an academic procession at 9:00 a.m.

The notice emphasized that only registered new students of the university are qualified to be matriculated. Members of Senate and Congregation are also expected to participate in the procession, fully adorned in academic gowns.

Faculty Officers have been directed to collect academic gowns for students from the Central Stores starting Wednesday, 12th November 2025, at 12 noon, and to ensure that students maintain proper conduct throughout the ceremony.

The university further warned students against any behavior that could tarnish the institution’s image, stressing that such acts would attract stiff penalties as stipulated by the school’s rules and regulations.

The management concluded by wishing the entire University community a happy and successful matriculation ceremony.
