UNILORIN reminder on key dates in the undergraduate academic calendar, 2025/2026

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has issued an internal memorandum outlining key dates and activities for the 2025/2026 Harmattan Semester. The notice, signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Moji T. Bakare-Odunola, serves as a reminder to all academic staff and students.

1. End of Harmattan Semester Lectures

Lectures will conclude on Friday, 16th January 2026, with all departments expected to complete lectures on or before 9th January 2026.

2. Upload of Continuous Assessment (CA)

The university portal will be open for uploading CA grades and other approved results from Monday, 19th January to Friday, 23rd January 2026.

3. Lecture-Free Week

The period 19th–23rd January 2026 has been designated as a lecture-free week to enable CA uploads and other academic submissions. No lectures are to hold during this period.

4. Harmattan Semester Examinations

Exams are scheduled to begin on Monday, 26th January 2026, and will end on Friday, 13th February 2026.

The university urges all staff and students to adhere strictly to the dates as contained in the academic calendar.
