UNILAG Condemns Graduates Extortion on Certificate Release

University of Lagos, UNILAG condemned extortion of the university graduates before certificates are released.

The attention of Management has been drawn to the unpleasant situation whereby graduates of the University of Lagos are being extorted before certificates are released. The extortion is in the guise of requesting graduands to “wash” their graduation.

Management at its meeting held on Monday, March 14, 2016, condemned this act and advised that it should be stopped immediately as it would not be tolerated.
