UNILAG Faculty of Engineering celebrates 60th anniversary

The Faculty of Engineering, University of Lagos, Akoka, will begin the celebration of its 60th Anniversary on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 till Friday, October 4, 2024 with the theme: Engineering Solutions for National Development.

Activities marking the Diamond Jubilee celebration are as follows:

• Opening ceremony and Exhibition        Wednesday, October 2, 2024
• Alumni Lecture and Awards                   Thursday, October 3, 2024                     
• Dept’l Day & Anniversary Dinner           Friday, October 4, 2024  

Titled, “The Nigerian Power Industry: Past, Present, and the Future”, the Alumni Lecture will be delivered by the Group Managing Director of Sahara Power Group, Mr. Kola Adesina, MFR, FNSE at the J.F. Ade-Ajayi Auditorium at 10:00a.m.

Aside from the Alumni Lecture, all other events will hold at the premises of the Faculty of Engineering and members of the campus community are cordially invited.
