UNILAG: Workshop On NUC Online University Accreditation Portal begins April 3

The Zone 1 Category Training Workshop on the National Universities’ Commission (NUC) Online Universities Programme Accreditation Portal will begin on Wednesday, April 3 and end on Friday, April 5, 2013.

The University of Lagos will host and participate in the Workshop which will be attended by representatives of eighteen other Universities, namely: National Open University of Nigeria, Lagos; Lagos State University, Ojo; Caleb University, Imota; University of Agriculture, Abeokuta; Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye; Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode; Babcock University of Technology, Ilishan; Covenant University, Ota; Crawford University, Igbesa; Crescent University, Abeokuta; Mcpherson University, Seriki-Sotayo, Abeokuta; Redeemers University, Mowe; Southwestern University, Okun-Owa; University of Ibadan, Ibadan; Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho; Ajayi Crowther University, Ibadan and Lead City University, Ibadan.

The NUC Online Universities Programme Accreditation Portal was created, primarily to obtain the staff and students’ data of Nigeria Universities and secondarily, to computerize the accreditation processes of academic programmes in Nigerian Universities. The Portal was launched on Friday, September 7, 2012 at the University of Calabar, Cross Rivers State.
