UNILORIN to hold 295th Inaugural Lecture on Education and Human Development

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Nigeria, has announced the 295th lecture in its Inaugural Lecture Series for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The lecture, titled “Intersections of Education, School, and Society in Human Development,” will be delivered by Professor Ismaila Oteikwu Once Amali, a renowned scholar from the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education.

According to the announcement, the inaugural lecture is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 18th December, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. The venue is the Multipurpose Hall, Main Campus, University of Ilorin. Guests are expected to be seated by 4:45 p.m.

The event forms part of the University’s tradition of promoting academic scholarship and intellectual discourse, providing a platform for professors to present their research contributions to the university community and the general public.
