UNIMAID announces sales of transfer forms

The University of Maiduguri has announced the commencement of sales of forms for inter-university and inter-departmental transfers for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the exercise is open to all interested staff and students seeking either inter-university or inter-departmental transfers.

The statement explained that all applicants are required to pay non-refundable fees through the University’s Remita account, accessible via the official University portal. Applicants must present evidence of payment at the Bursary Department before proceeding to download the transfer forms from the University ICT Centre.

The approved fees for the various transfer categories are as follows:

Inter-University Transfer within Nigeria: ₦150,000

Inter-University Transfer from Abroad: ₦250,000

Inter-Departmental Transfer (Voluntary): ₦100,000

Inter-Departmental Transfer (Obligatory): ₦50,000
