UNIMAID Is Not Closing down Because Of Boko Haram- spokesman

Ahmed Mohammed, spokesman for the University of Maiduguri has debunked the rumour that the institution is planning to close down because of Boko Haram insurgents in the state.

According to him, the institution is quite safe and have security measures in place should there be any such attack in the school.

Before this, information had it that after the attack on Giwa Barracks some of the students abandoned Classes for fear of probable attacks by the terrorists
