UNIMAID Opens Portal for Printing of Admission Letters for 2025/2026 Session

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has announced the opening of its portal for the printing of admission letters for newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the portal will be accessible from Friday, January 2, 2026, for candidates admitted through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).

The University clarified that only candidates who selected the University of Maiduguri as their first choice in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will be eligible to print their admission letters. Candidates are also required to ensure that their admission status has been duly confirmed before attempting to download the document.

To access and print the admission letter, admitted candidates are advised to visit the University’s official website at www.unimaid.edu.ng and click on the Admission Portal, which will redirect them to the UMSTAD login page. Applicants are to log in using their JAMB Registration Number as their username and password, select “Download Admission Letter” on the dashboard, verify their admission details, and proceed to download and print the letter.

The University further advised candidates to carefully confirm their personal details on the portal and strictly adhere to all provided instructions, warning that failure to comply with the stipulated procedures may lead to delays in registration.

The statement emphasized that all admissions remain provisional and subject to the fulfillment of all admission requirements and successful clearance by the University.
