UNIMAID Post-UTME/DE 2025: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into University of Maiduguri that the 2025/2026 Post-Admission Screening Exercise will commence from Monday, August 11, 2025 and end on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Accordingly, all prospective candidates are hereby advised to take advantage of this window of opportunity and do the needful, as there will be no extension beyond the stated date.

ELIGIBILITY 
1. Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of two thousand naira (Two Thousand Naira) only through Remita platform.

2. Only UTME and DE candidates who selected University of Maiduguri as first choice during 2025/2026 JAMB are eligible for the screening exercise.

3. UTME candidates must have a minimum of 150 except those courses for which higher cut-off marks have been indicated on the University Website.

4. Candidates must meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses and have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the 2025 JAMB Brochure.

5. Only candidates who have met the minimum admission requirements will be allowed to upload their documents and whose requirements they meet.

6. All candidates must possess a minimum of five O’Level credits in subjects relevant to their proposed course of study including Mathematics and English Language and obtained in not more than two sittings. In addition, Direct Entry candidates must possess either a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma and Higher National Diploma levels or Merit at NCE level.

7. Only O’level result print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website of the National Examination bodies (WASC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of original certificates will be accepted for verification.

8. Candidates are to ensure that their O’level results are uploaded on their JAMB CAPS profiles.

*Procedure*
1. Visit www.unimaid.edu.ng and click Post UTME screening 2025  

2. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as username and unimaid@2025 as password  

3. Upload a passport photograph (not less than 200KB) and select your course of study  

4. Enter your phone number and email address, then click "Generate" to make a payment of N2,000  

5. Enter your bio-data, A/O Level results, and upload the required documents  

6. Submit your application
