FULAFIA SUG suspends Secretary General with immediate effect

The public and members of the Union have been officially notified of the suspension of the Secretary General, Abdullahi Jamiu Alhaji. According to a formal statement released by the Union’s leadership, the suspension takes effect immediately.

The decision, which bars Alhaji from acting or making official representations on behalf of the Union, was reached and duly passed during the last Joint Meeting between the Legislative Arm and the Executive Arm of the organization.

In the announcement signed by Speaker Abraham Emmanuel and Clerk Emmanuel Michael, the Union directed that all official communications and matters pertaining to the Office of the Secretary General should now be directed to the Assistant Secretary General until further notice.

The leadership stated that the measure is necessary "to ensure continuity, order, and the smooth running of the Union’s activities." No specific reason for the suspension was detailed in the public notice.
