Uniosun Students Protest Over Death Of Another Student

Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State has been taken over with student protest, after a 100 level female student of the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has in a tragic development given up the ghost at an hospital.

The student was said to be sick with malaria and she was rushed to the hospital but wasn’t attended to as quickly as possible, leading to her death.

In annoyance, students of the institution and colleagues of the dead student decided to stage a huge protest thereby blocking the highway.

Some of the students threatened to burn down the hospital which is just opposite the SARS police station, Oke Bale, Osogbo.

The school vice chancellor Professor Labode Popoola has immediately declared a 7-day holiday for the students.
